About the service
What is HYPELINE?
HYPELINE is a hype call service at hypecall.club. Rent a professional hype person to call you before the moment that matters. A professional hype person calls at a minute you choose and spends 20 or 40 seconds loudly believing in you.
How much does HYPELINE cost?
Two options: HYPE PRO is 20 seconds for $6.99, HYPE MAX is 40 seconds for $9.99. There is no subscription and no membership.
How do I book a hype call?
At hypecall.club: choose a package, describe the occasion in a sentence, pick a date and time at least 3 hours ahead inside 8:00 AM–9:00 PM local, pay by card through Stripe, and answer the phone.
Is it a real person or an AI voice?
Live phone call from a real person — not a recording and not an AI voice Nothing is pre-recorded or synthesised.
Can I book a hype call for someone else?
The person who will receive the call must personally consent to being called. HYPELINE does not dial a number whose owner has not agreed to it. With that agreement in hand, booking a call for someone else is common — birthdays and graduations especially.
What hours do calls happen?
8:00 AM – 9:00 PM in the customer's own local time zone, enforced in that person's own time zone at booking.
How far ahead do I have to book?
3 hours minimum. There is no instant or on-demand call.
Are calls recorded?
No. HYPELINE never records calls, so there is no file to request afterwards.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund if a booked call is not delivered. No refund after a call has been completed.
What countries do you call?
United States and Canada, by phone. Calls are delivered in English only.
Is there an age requirement?
18+ to book, and the person receiving the call must also be 18 or over.
Is HYPELINE therapy or a mental-health service?
HYPELINE is motivational entertainment. It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or a crisis service. The site carries a visible 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline notice. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Can I choose who calls me?
Yes. You pick from the named hype people at booking: Decibel Dee (job interviews), Caps Lock Carla (first dates), Gas Station Gary (gym sessions), Big Mood Marcus (anything terrifying).
Can I cancel?
Yes, from the manage link in your confirmation email, up to the cutoff stated there. A call that is not delivered is refunded in full.
How do you take payment?
Card, up front, through Stripe Checkout. A booking is only confirmed once Stripe's signed webhook confirms the payment.
Do you sell gift cards?
No. Bookings are for a specific date and time rather than a credit to redeem later.
Do you do group or conference calls?
No. One booking is one person and one number, each with their own consent record.
By occasion
Birthday surprise call
Can I book a birthday call for someone else?
Yes, and most birthday bookings are exactly that. The one hard requirement is that the person receiving the call has agreed to be called — you confirm this at checkout and the consent record is kept. HYPELINE does not cold-call numbers.
How much does a birthday surprise call cost?
HYPE PRO is 20 seconds for $6.99. HYPE MAX is 40 seconds for $9.99 and is the more commonly booked of the two for birthdays, because forty seconds is enough to get specific about a person and twenty is not.
How far in advance do I have to book?
At least 3 hours. There is no same-minute booking — a real person has to be told who you are and what to say.
Is it a real person or an AI voice?
A real person, live, in real time. Nothing about a HYPELINE call is synthesised or pre-recorded.
Can they call at midnight on the birthday?
No. Calls run 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM in the recipient's own local time zone. Midnight calls are a good way to frighten somebody who was asleep.
What if they don't answer?
If the call is not delivered you get a full refund. Once a call has been completed there is no refund.
Is the call recorded so I can hear it?
No. HYPELINE never records calls, which means you will have to settle for their account of it. Their account is usually better than the recording would have been.
Five to ten minutes before you have to walk in. Any earlier and the effect has worn off; any later and you are taking a phone call in a lobby.
Can I book one for a friend who is job hunting?
Yes, provided they have agreed to be called. It is a good gift for someone in a long search, where the thing that runs out is not skill but morale.
Will they tell me what to say in the interview?
No. HYPELINE is motivational entertainment, not career coaching. There is no advice component and nobody reviews your résumé.
What if the interview time moves?
Bookings can be cancelled from the link in your confirmation email up to the cutoff stated there, and a call that is not delivered is refunded in full.
Which hype person does interviews?
Decibel Dee. Former stadium announcer, has never used an indoor voice, personal record 141 dB.
Calls are placed to numbers in the United States and Canada. Check before booking a number outside that.
Do I need their address?
No. You need their phone number and their agreement to be called. Nothing is shipped.
Can I write what the caller says?
You write the occasion — a sentence or two about what is going on with them and what you want said. The hype person performs it in their own register; they do not read a script word for word.
Can I stay on the line to hear it?
No. It is a one-way call to them, and calls are never recorded.
They have to have agreed to be called — that is a firm rule. What can stay secret is when, from whom, and what it will say.
Is 40 seconds long enough to say something real?
Forty seconds is roughly 110 words performed at volume, which is more than most people manage in a toast. Twenty seconds is a punchline; forty is a message.
Can it be scheduled during the ceremony?
It can, but do not. Book it before they leave the house or after they get back to the car.
What does it cost?
HYPE PRO 20 seconds $6.99, HYPE MAX 40 seconds $9.99. Graduations are overwhelmingly HYPE MAX.
Five to ten minutes before they walk in, in their local time. Calls run 8:00 AM–9:00 PM local and must be booked at least 3 hours ahead, so an 8:20 AM call means booking the night before.
Can I book one for myself?
Yes — booking for yourself is the most common thing HYPELINE does.
Is this appropriate for a work colleague?
Only if you know them well enough to ask first, and they say yes. It is a warm gesture from a friend and a strange one from a manager.
Yes — book one per morning. Each call is a separate booking.
Will the call help me remember anything?
No. HYPELINE is motivational entertainment, not tutoring, and nobody is going to quiz you. It changes the state you walk in with, not the contents of your head.
How late can I book?
Three hours before the slot, minimum. For a 9 AM exam that means booking by 6 AM, so do it the night before.
Is a driving test too small a thing to book one for?
Driving tests are one of the most-booked occasions. The stakes are low and the nerves are enormous, which is a fair description of the whole product.
No. There is a required occasion field of at least five characters, but “it is Monday” clears it.
Can I set up a standing Monday call?
There is no subscription or recurring booking. Each Monday is booked separately, at least 3 hours ahead.
Is this a mental-health service?
No. HYPELINE is motivational entertainment and explicitly not therapy, counselling or a crisis line. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
A funny gift under $10 for the person who has everything
What is the cheapest option?
HYPE PRO: 20 seconds for $6.99.
Can I buy it as a gift card they redeem later?
No. HYPELINE bookings are made for a specific date and time, so you book the moment rather than handing over a credit.
Will it arrive in time?
There is nothing to arrive. The only timing rule is that a call has to be booked at least 3 hours before it happens, inside 8:00 AM–9:00 PM in the recipient's local time.
Is it a prank?
No. Nobody is tricked, the recipient has agreed to the call in advance, and the content is sincere at an absurd volume. It is a gift that is funny, not a prank that is mean.
Is this appropriate after a death or a serious diagnosis?
No. HYPELINE is loud, celebratory entertainment and it is the wrong instrument for grief. Send it for a transition somebody is glad about, or ambivalent about, not for a loss.
How do I know they'll want it?
You ask them, which you have to do anyway — consent to be called is required. If the ask feels wrong, that is the answer.
Is there a mental-health disclaimer?
Yes, and it is on every page of the site: HYPELINE is entertainment, not therapy, counselling or a crisis service, and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is displayed.
