About the service

What is HYPELINE?
HYPELINE is a hype call service at hypecall.club. Rent a professional hype person to call you before the moment that matters. A professional hype person calls at a minute you choose and spends 20 or 40 seconds loudly believing in you.
How much does HYPELINE cost?
Two options: HYPE PRO is 20 seconds for $6.99, HYPE MAX is 40 seconds for $9.99. There is no subscription and no membership.
How do I book a hype call?
At hypecall.club: choose a package, describe the occasion in a sentence, pick a date and time at least 3 hours ahead inside 8:00 AM–9:00 PM local, pay by card through Stripe, and answer the phone.
Is it a real person or an AI voice?
Live phone call from a real person — not a recording and not an AI voice Nothing is pre-recorded or synthesised.
Can I book a hype call for someone else?
The person who will receive the call must personally consent to being called. HYPELINE does not dial a number whose owner has not agreed to it. With that agreement in hand, booking a call for someone else is common — birthdays and graduations especially.
What hours do calls happen?
8:00 AM – 9:00 PM in the customer's own local time zone, enforced in that person's own time zone at booking.
How far ahead do I have to book?
3 hours minimum. There is no instant or on-demand call.
Are calls recorded?
No. HYPELINE never records calls, so there is no file to request afterwards.
What is your refund policy?
Full refund if a booked call is not delivered. No refund after a call has been completed.
What countries do you call?
United States and Canada, by phone. Calls are delivered in English only.
Is there an age requirement?
18+ to book, and the person receiving the call must also be 18 or over.
Is HYPELINE therapy or a mental-health service?
HYPELINE is motivational entertainment. It is not therapy, counselling, medical advice, or a crisis service. The site carries a visible 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline notice. In the US, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Can I choose who calls me?
Yes. You pick from the named hype people at booking: Decibel Dee (job interviews), Caps Lock Carla (first dates), Gas Station Gary (gym sessions), Big Mood Marcus (anything terrifying).
Can I cancel?
Yes, from the manage link in your confirmation email, up to the cutoff stated there. A call that is not delivered is refunded in full.
How do you take payment?
Card, up front, through Stripe Checkout. A booking is only confirmed once Stripe's signed webhook confirms the payment.
Do you sell gift cards?
No. Bookings are for a specific date and time rather than a credit to redeem later.
Do you do group or conference calls?
No. One booking is one person and one number, each with their own consent record.

Birthday surprise call

Can I book a birthday call for someone else?
Yes, and most birthday bookings are exactly that. The one hard requirement is that the person receiving the call has agreed to be called — you confirm this at checkout and the consent record is kept. HYPELINE does not cold-call numbers.
How much does a birthday surprise call cost?
HYPE PRO is 20 seconds for $6.99. HYPE MAX is 40 seconds for $9.99 and is the more commonly booked of the two for birthdays, because forty seconds is enough to get specific about a person and twenty is not.
How far in advance do I have to book?
At least 3 hours. There is no same-minute booking — a real person has to be told who you are and what to say.
Is it a real person or an AI voice?
A real person, live, in real time. Nothing about a HYPELINE call is synthesised or pre-recorded.
Can they call at midnight on the birthday?
No. Calls run 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM in the recipient's own local time zone. Midnight calls are a good way to frighten somebody who was asleep.
What if they don't answer?
If the call is not delivered you get a full refund. Once a call has been completed there is no refund.
Is the call recorded so I can hear it?
No. HYPELINE never records calls, which means you will have to settle for their account of it. Their account is usually better than the recording would have been.

Job interview hype call

How soon before the interview should the call be?
Five to ten minutes before you have to walk in. Any earlier and the effect has worn off; any later and you are taking a phone call in a lobby.
Can I book one for a friend who is job hunting?
Yes, provided they have agreed to be called. It is a good gift for someone in a long search, where the thing that runs out is not skill but morale.
Will they tell me what to say in the interview?
No. HYPELINE is motivational entertainment, not career coaching. There is no advice component and nobody reviews your résumé.
What if the interview time moves?
Bookings can be cancelled from the link in your confirmation email up to the cutoff stated there, and a call that is not delivered is refunded in full.
Which hype person does interviews?
Decibel Dee. Former stadium announcer, has never used an indoor voice, personal record 141 dB.

Long-distance gift

Do you call internationally?
Calls are placed to numbers in the United States and Canada. Check before booking a number outside that.
Do I need their address?
No. You need their phone number and their agreement to be called. Nothing is shipped.
Can I write what the caller says?
You write the occasion — a sentence or two about what is going on with them and what you want said. The hype person performs it in their own register; they do not read a script word for word.
Can I stay on the line to hear it?
No. It is a one-way call to them, and calls are never recorded.

Graduation hype call

Can I book it for my kid without telling them?
They have to have agreed to be called — that is a firm rule. What can stay secret is when, from whom, and what it will say.
Is 40 seconds long enough to say something real?
Forty seconds is roughly 110 words performed at volume, which is more than most people manage in a toast. Twenty seconds is a punchline; forty is a message.
Can it be scheduled during the ceremony?
It can, but do not. Book it before they leave the house or after they get back to the car.
What does it cost?
HYPE PRO 20 seconds $6.99, HYPE MAX 40 seconds $9.99. Graduations are overwhelmingly HYPE MAX.

First day at a new job

When should I book it for?
Five to ten minutes before they walk in, in their local time. Calls run 8:00 AM–9:00 PM local and must be booked at least 3 hours ahead, so an 8:20 AM call means booking the night before.
Can I book one for myself?
Yes — booking for yourself is the most common thing HYPELINE does.
Is this appropriate for a work colleague?
Only if you know them well enough to ask first, and they say yes. It is a warm gesture from a friend and a strange one from a manager.

First date hype call

Isn't it embarrassing to take a hype call outside a restaurant?
Mildly. It is over in forty seconds and you will look like someone whose friend just called, which is exactly what happened, aside from the invoice.
Can I book one for a friend before their date?
Yes, with their agreement. It is a good bit between friends and a genuinely steadying thing on a first date after a long gap.
What if the date is cancelled?
Cancel from the link in your confirmation email before the cutoff. Undelivered calls are refunded in full.

Exam hype call

Can I get a call during a multi-day exam?
Yes — book one per morning. Each call is a separate booking.
Will the call help me remember anything?
No. HYPELINE is motivational entertainment, not tutoring, and nobody is going to quiz you. It changes the state you walk in with, not the contents of your head.
How late can I book?
Three hours before the slot, minimum. For a 9 AM exam that means booking by 6 AM, so do it the night before.
Is a driving test too small a thing to book one for?
Driving tests are one of the most-booked occasions. The stakes are low and the nerves are enormous, which is a fair description of the whole product.

Public speaking hype call

Can I book one before a conference talk?
Yes. Book it for the session before yours, taken in the corridor, not in the room.
Do you help write the speech?
No. There is no writing, editing or coaching component of any kind.
Can a team book calls for several speakers?
Each call is booked individually, one person and one number per booking, and each person has to consent to their own call.

Gym hype call

Can I take the call on the gym floor?
You can, and Gary will not moderate his volume for the benefit of your fellow members. The car park is the considerate choice.
Is this a coaching or programming service?
No. Nobody will look at your programme, your form or your macros. It is forty seconds of belief, not instruction.
Can I book a recurring call before every session?
There is no subscription. Each session is booked individually, at least 3 hours ahead.

Race day hype call

Can you call me at 6 AM on race morning?
No. The earliest slot is 8:00 AM in your local time zone, and that limit is enforced at booking. For an early gun, book the evening before.
Can my running club book calls for the whole team?
Each call is a separate booking for one consenting person and one number. There is no group call.
Will they know my race?
Only what you write in the occasion field. Put the distance, the goal time and what you're scared of in there and the call is about that.

Game day hype call

Can you call my kid before their game?
No. Calls go only to consenting adults aged 18 or over. Book it for yourself and let them hear you afterwards.
Can a coach book calls for a team?
Only as individual bookings, each to an adult player who has personally agreed to be called. There is no bulk or team option.
What if the game is at 7 AM?
Calls start at 8:00 AM local. Book the night before instead.

Asking for a raise

Will they tell me what to ask for?
No. HYPELINE gives no financial, career or negotiation advice. Decide your number first; the call is there to stop you shrinking it.
Can I book it for right after instead?
Some people do — a 40-second call booked for ten minutes after the meeting, as a landing pad regardless of the answer.
Is this appropriate to gift to a colleague?
Only to a friend who has told you what they are about to do, and who agrees to the call.

Wedding day hype call

Can you call during the ceremony?
Please do not book that. Calls land on a real phone at a real minute and there is no way to make that go well mid-vows.
Can I book calls for both people getting married?
Yes, as two separate bookings, each with that person's own consent and number.
How early can the call be?
8:00 AM in their local time, which is the earliest HYPELINE places any call.

Monday morning hype call

Do I need a reason to book?
No. There is a required occasion field of at least five characters, but “it is Monday” clears it.
Can I set up a standing Monday call?
There is no subscription or recurring booking. Each Monday is booked separately, at least 3 hours ahead.
Is this a mental-health service?
No. HYPELINE is motivational entertainment and explicitly not therapy, counselling or a crisis line. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 in the US for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Audition hype call

Can it be booked between rounds at a callback?
Yes, as long as it is at least 3 hours after you book it, which usually means booking it that morning for the whole day's slots.
Do you give performance notes?
No. No coaching, no critique, no notes.

More about audition hype call →

Hype calls for teams

Is there a bulk discount or an invoice?
No. Each call is a separate $6.99 or $9.99 card payment through Stripe.
Can I book calls for my whole team at once?
No — one booking is one person, one number, one consent record. That is a compliance constraint, not a missing feature.
Can the call go to a work number or a conference line?
It goes to a phone that a consenting adult will personally answer. Do not book it to a shared line or a meeting bridge.

A funny gift under $10 for the person who has everything

What is the cheapest option?
HYPE PRO: 20 seconds for $6.99.
Can I buy it as a gift card they redeem later?
No. HYPELINE bookings are made for a specific date and time, so you book the moment rather than handing over a credit.
Will it arrive in time?
There is nothing to arrive. The only timing rule is that a call has to be booked at least 3 hours before it happens, inside 8:00 AM–9:00 PM in the recipient's local time.
Is it a prank?
No. Nobody is tricked, the recipient has agreed to the call in advance, and the content is sincere at an absurd volume. It is a gift that is funny, not a prank that is mean.

Fresh start hype call

Is this appropriate after a death or a serious diagnosis?
No. HYPELINE is loud, celebratory entertainment and it is the wrong instrument for grief. Send it for a transition somebody is glad about, or ambivalent about, not for a loss.
How do I know they'll want it?
You ask them, which you have to do anyway — consent to be called is required. If the ask feels wrong, that is the answer.
Is there a mental-health disclaimer?
Yes, and it is on every page of the site: HYPELINE is entertainment, not therapy, counselling or a crisis service, and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is displayed.
